(a) First we need to find the distance from the ship to the asteroids and we must find the angle:

Find the force using Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation on each asteroid:

Now find the component vectors of the forces:

Add the components in the x and y directions:

(b) Find the forces at the new location B:

Use the fact that the forces are equal and opposite, therefore the sum is zero.
