Text: Carlton, Richard R., Principles of Radiographic Imaging 4th Edition, 2006

Goal of Course:

An elementary approach to the application of radiation physics. A study of matter and structure of the atom as it relates to the development of X-rays and the eventual process of irradiation. Knowledge of the X-ray tube and generating equipment from an introductory standpoint. This course will also help prepare the student for the certification examination by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Grading:

Your final grade will be based on a passing grade on exams and homework and a comprehensive final exam. Exams and Final Exam are 80% of your grade and homework will be 20% of your grade.
