Mentorship Presentation
If your student is interested in a Healthcare Career, this is a great opportunity to take advantage of! WVMC
offers mentorship opportunities in many of their departments. This year, there are eight positions for the students
to apply for, from Registered Nurse to Interpreter. This particular mentorship opportunity is 10 hours a student can spend
with a healthcare mentor which takes place outside of school hours, at WVMC, and will be completed between October 30th and December 3rd. They will get hands-on experience in a career of interest and see first hand what a person does on a day to day basis. Please
mark your calendars for the following dates:
Week of October 12th Students interview with mentor October 19th Students notified of selections October 29th MANDATORY student orientation
Conference Room A WVMC
12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. (lunch served)
October 30 - December 3 Mentoring
10 hrs - ideally in 2 hr blocks
December 4th Reception & Presentations
