Special, unavoidable circumstance appeals

 
 

Available to Seniors Only

Seniors may apply to have the HSPE (WASL) requirement waived to graduate. 


• This is not intended for students that simply did poorly on the HSPE.  The appeals committee must find that it is more likely than not that a student possesses the skills and knowledge to pass the HSPE, but that there was


• To be granted in the waiver, it must be shown that there is no other “recourse or remedy” for the special, unavoidable circumstance that is possible before the anticipated graduation date.
