Citing Your Sources

Most departments at Wenatchee High School use the MLA (Modern Language Association) style for reports and papers.  The library has several MLA style handbooks available for checkout, but if you want links to the information electronically,

MLA Examples

Message from the Librarians:  It is so important to include a "Works Cited" page with every paper you write.  Give credit where it is due.  If you used a great source of information, cite it!  Teachers know that you get your quotes and other information from somewhere (unless it is "Common Knowledge"), so include a "Works Cited " list at the end of your paper so your teacher can know where you got your information.

Cite (give publishing information about)

  where you
  Sighted (located, took notes about)
  your facts.”
