Welcome to my website!  My name is Michelle Smith, and I teach English and Drama here at Wenatchee High School.

A native of the Wenatchee Valley and a 1985 graduate of Wenatchee High School,  I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Central Washington University in 1989.  My BA degree is in English and Drama for Secondary Education.  This will be my seventh year teaching in the Wenatchee School District.

In addition to being a teacher, I am also a wife and mother.  My husband, who met me in a WHS chemistry class over 20 years ago, teaches junior high band, and we are the proud parents of a ballet and book-loving daughter and a spunky blue-heeler/lab.

In my spare time, I serve on the Board of Directors for Ballet Theatre Northwest, and I enjoy reading, cooking and attending concerts and plays. 

I love living in this community and teaching at WHS!  It is an honor to work with so many talented colleagues and to share my love of literature and theater with our wonderful students.
