Project: Water Quality in Washington State

Details: Five students sat at a long table and went through a PowerPoint show on water quality in Washington state. They included information on laws that affect water quality, the effects of three contaminants on people and some examples of problems with water quality in the state. They also showed a water filter they made to experiment with trying to clean water and showed how they tested waters from their local area. This was an effective combination of researching information and doing original research in their local area.
