Project: How Different Types of Music Affect Performance
Contact Name: Charley Baker (science@orca.esd114.wednet.edu)
School: Quilcene High School
Date Completed: Spring 2004
Details: Seven students from an environmental science class did research on how different types of music affect performance. They cited a study of mice and showed an example of how student work might be affected when different styles of music are played as they draw. They described how they plan to experiment with the effects of music on how fast students do math problems. This group had planned to use a PowerPoint they had produced, but found that their videoconferencing equipment would not allow them to show it so they had to change their presentation method at the last minute.
