Details: The recent ban on smoking in all public places in Pierce county was the focus of this presentation by four students. They put on a well-written skit to present their points regarding the ban, the effects on businesses and the health issue of secondhand smoke. This realistic skit included a narrator, a person who added facts at key times, a "bartender" on her break and a "smoker" in a bar. Through their performance, they got across their findings about economic effects in the county as well as health issues.
