Lunch Bunch is an opportunity to visit with college and career representatives during your lunch time.
Unless advertised otherwise, all will occur in the Career Center.
Generally there is one college visit per year from the colleges.
In 2009 we held a Worlds Fair--A College and Career Fair on a trial basis.
Back by popular demand--a Career and College Fair is scheduled to take place the fall of 2012!

Mentorship Program
Is your student interested in a Healthcare Career? This is a great opportunity to take advantage of! WVMC offers mentorship opportunities in many of their departments.
This year, there are NINE positions for the students to apply for -- Registered Nurse (2), Medical Assistant (2), Radiology Tech., Medical Lab Tech., Physical Therapy Aide, Ophthalmology Tech., Spanish Interpreter.
A student spends ten hours with a WVMC health care mentor at WVMC facilities. This occurs outside of school hours. They will get hands-on experience, seeing first-hand what the health provider does on a day to day basis.

Project H.O.P.E. is a paid summer internship for Jr/Sr pursuing careers in medical field.
Due to economic conditions the program was cancelled for 2010.
