Describtion: This is a laboratory course designed for entry level students in basic skills. Laboratory experience is included in all areas. Course presents 6 areas in FACSE: foods and nutrition, child development, clothing, management, relationships, housing and interior design.

  • Use correct sanitation practices while cooking.
  • Develop strong and healthy relationships.
  • Determine personal strengths and weaknesses.
  • Identify careers that are related to personal values and transferable skills.
  • Be able to use a decision making process through the life span.
  • Use communication to build and maintain relationships.
  • Demonstrate management of finances.
