Mrs.
Carrolyn Halvorson is the advisor for Spanish Club. She is an amazing
teacher as well as an amazing person. In addition to Spanish, she also
speaks German (having grown up speaking it), and knows Latin, though mysteriously
refuses to speak it. She was born in Great Falls, Montana in 1949. She
received her BA in Modern Foreign Languages from Montana State University,
her Masters from UCLA-Berkeley in Linguistics, and then her Masters in
Administration from Nova University in Miami, Florida. She has taught
for 34 years, in eight different locations. She has two children Kristin,
and Erik. She also likes to quilt, and recently won a ribbon for Art Quilt.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all the hard work
she has put into making Spanish Club one of the best clubs at WHS!
