My name is Kory Kalahar and I am a teacher here at Wenatchee High School. This year I am working with students who did not meet standard on the WASL in one or more of the following areas: Math, Reading, and Writing. My goal is to meet with your student to see what I can do to help them meet standard on the WASL this coming spring. I will be meeting with students individually and then setting up times when I can meet with both you and your student, unless you plan to attend parent/teacher conferences in October and we can meet then.

What does the SSF do? |
This SSF is the facilitator for the intervention programs at the high school level with a specific focus this year on students who did not meet standard on the WASL in Reading, Writing, or Math (currently 325 students). Much of the time of the SSF will be spent working with students (conferences, classroom setting, individually, small groups), parents (student learning plans), and teachers (data and curriculum) to bring the skills of the students up to a passing level.
