Dear Students and Parents,

           Welcome to Algebra!  The goal of this class is for students to acquire an array of problem solving strategies so that they will be prepared to be successful in college mathematics courses and the workplace of the 21st century.  While students will be learning fundamental skills and procedures, students will also learn to work together in study teams on challenging problems.  Students will discover four major ways to approach mathematics: numerically, symbolically, graphically, and verbally.  Please feel free to search the website for anything useful.  I am really looking forward to our year together!
