Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to AP Calculus! The goal of this class is to prepare each student for college level mathematics and to appreciate the beauty of calculus. We will tie together most of your previous math knowledge to become fully prepared for the Calculus AB exam. The main topics of this course include Limits and Their Properties, Differentiation and its Applications, Integration and its Application, and Logarithmic & Exponential Functions. Students are not required to take the AP exam in May but I highly recommend it. As the test nears, I will send home more information about costs and dates.
