Insert
a floppy disk it into the computer. If you will be transferring the
gradebook to a Windows computer, make sure that you are using a PC-formatted
floppy disk even if the gradebook is being transferred from a Macintosh.

Copy the gradebook to the
floppy disk.
Windows:
Right-click on the gradebook's icon and choose Copy. Right-click
on the A-drive icon and choose Paste.
Macintosh:
Drag the gradebook's icon to the icon of the floppy disk.

Eject the floppy disk and insert
it into the other computer's drive.

Copy the gradebook from the
floppy disk.
Windows:
Double-click on the A-drive's icon to open a window to the floppy
disk. Right-click on the gradebook's icon and choose Copy. Right-click
on the folder on the hard drive to receive the gradebook or right-click
on an empty place on the Desktop and choose Paste.
Macintosh:
Double-click on the icon of the floppy disk. Drag the icon of the
gradebook to the folder on the hard drive to receive the gradebook.
On a Macintosh computer prior to OS X, do not drag the gradebook
to the Desktop because the Desktop belongs to all disks, including
the floppy disk.

To
start your gradebook, find its icon on the Desktop or in the folder
and double-click on it. This will ensure that you are opening the
right gradebook. If this doesn't work, start Easy Grade Pro directly.
If the wrong gradebook opens, choose Close from the File menu. Then
click the Open
an Existing Gradebook button and open the gradebook. On
OSX, you can control-click on the gradebook's icon and, from the menu
that pops up, choose to open your gradebook using Easy Grade Pro.
Then double-click on it. |
