lunch bunch bag"Lunch Bunch"  College WHS Visitation Series          College Preview Dates for Juniors

Lunch Bunch is an opportunity to visit with college and career representatives during lunch time.

Unless advertised otherwise, all will occur in the Career Center. 

Generally there is one college visit per year from the colleges.

In 2009, WHS (Career Center plus a committee of approximately 10) held a

World's Fair--A College and Career Fair on a trial basis.

 Back by popular demand--a WSD Career and College Fair took place the fall of 2012!  It too was a success!

In 2014-15 A WSD College and Career Fair will be held in November and will be organized

by Wenatchee Learns. 

Remember to watch the Principals Weekly email, Weekly Bulletin, weekly announcements, bulletin boards,

Mentorship Program


Are you as a student, interested in a Healthcare Career?  Is your student interested in a Healthcare Career?   Confluence Health, formerly Wenatchee Valley Medical Center, has offered a Mentorship Program for 11 years! A student spends ten hours with a health care mentor at Confluence Health Care facilities.  This occurs outside of school hours.  They will have hands-on experience, seeing first-hand what the health provider does on a day to day basis. This is a wonderful opportunity for which you may apply to participate in.  It is a competive program. 

Positions may include -- Registered Nurse , Medical Assistant,, Radiology Tech., Medical Lab Tech.,  Physical Therapy Aide, Ophthalmology Tech., Spanish Interpreter.
