Propaganda Writing Questions
  • Write one paragraph explaining what your winter consists of and what you enjoyed doing. Please do not tell anything illegal, corrupt, or wrong because I do not need to know and I already know how cool each of you are. One paragraph, if you are confused, is at least six to eight complete sentences. Do not be afraid to use description and detail or a compound sentence. (full paragraph)
  • Why are you in this class besides the fact that you need English credit to graduate and this fulfils a Junior Speech requirement? Why did you choose this class in particular, because there are quite a few that fulfill that requirement? (Short paragraph)
  • What have you heard about this class? (full paragraph)

Propaganda Homework
  • The following are the three big questions I always ask prop* students.
  • If someone were holding a gun to your head and said “define propaganda or else” you would respond with the following definition:
  • Is propaganda ever a good thing?  Explain.
  • How was prop used on you last? First? Explain.
  • * All friendly reference to propaganda can be abbreviated to simply “prop”.
