Objective:  Prerequisite: Junior or Senior Status. This course is structured to inform the students of the various techniques of propaganda that are used through many different means every day.  We will examine many techniques and fallacies as they apply to politics, advertising, and life.  Also, this course will provide students with life skills such as a variety of speaking and listening activities.  Many different models of effective speaking will be taught.  Students will be able to speak to entertain, to inform, and to persuade, while at the same time becoming more familiar with the "information environment" of today's world.
