
The Center for Ecogenetics and Environmental Health at the University of Washington in Seattle is hosting a series of videoconferences. These events will give middle and high school teachers the opportunity to work with students on environmental health issues in their communities. Students prepare projects and present their findings to experts via the statewide K20 videoconference network. No prior teacher preparation is required and substitute reimbursement as well as materials stipends are available for participating teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for your students to be heard and to get feedback on their work from leading experts in the field of public and environmental health. This is the fourth year for this innovative project. There will be three sessions during the 2003-04 academic year:
